Must Read

If you happen to be looking for a good blog post to read through at the moment, check out Jane at Sea of Shoes post on Hanna Bernhard Accessories. My personal favourite is the shrimp!

Anyone else got some current must-reads?

Dream Boys

Taking inspiration from the fantastic Doe Deere I’ve decided to list my Dream Boys.

Dreamboy/girl is someone you find attractive to the point of delirium. It’s usually a celebrity because glamorous pictures to crush on are a-must! Dreamboys and girls come in all shapes and sizes; their age doesn’t matter… Read more?

3# James Bourne

Anyone I went to High School with/my family will know that this had to be an entry somewhere. And it’s one guy I’ll never ever get over. It’s safe to say I was obsessed with this boy and his legendary pop band, Busted. From posters floor to ceiling (infact, including my ceiling…), taping every TV appearance, screeching everytime I heard him on the radio and swearing, “I’ll meet him – one day!”.
AND I DID! (Ha!)

2# Robert Pattison

Someone who I imagine will appear on the majority of girls Dream Boys list and one that particulary annoys my boyfriend. But who can blame me? He is sensational! I’m not even going to try and come up with some excuse of how there’s more to my love of him than Edward Cullen, because to be perfectly honest; there’s not. It’s the whole pale vampire, watching you while you sleep, protecting you forever kinda thing that gets me going. The whole weak at the knees and butterflies in your stomach from just one scene of him and Bella – and only because you’re imagining you’re actually Bella…

1# Calvin Harris

I often find myself sitting in front of my computer playing the videos for Ready For The Weekend, The Girls and even the stage storming of Jeward – over and over… and over! It’s safe to say this man’s amazes me. Not only is he stunning but his music is something that the whole world has to experience as he is the musical genius. And best of all – he’s Scottish!

Now it’s your turn! Who’s your dream boys? Who do you get all hot for?

Happy New Year!

Snowy view from my window. (Yup, I live opposite graveyard…)

Hope you all had a fantastic Hogmanay. I spent my evening with my boyfriend at a friends house, eating chinese food, playing Buzz and watching Frankie Boyle. It’s was a lovely night! Apart from my boyfriend’s work van getting stuck in the snow when trying to get home.

So what’s my New Year resolutions? Well, I don’t so much have resolutions, but things I want to achieve.
Isn’t that the same, though? Well, in some ways. But there’s things I’d like to achieve that can’t really be defined as resolutions – like owning a designer handbag! And various other materialistic things.

Being Healthier. In both food and exercise. For me this means gyming/swimming or going to a fitness class at least twice a week and having more home cooked meals and smaller portions.
Be more fashionable daily. And make the most of the small wardrobe I have, whilst trying to increase it. I also plan to take more Daily Outfit pictures (starting today!).
Travel. Or at least take a couple of holidays. Not entirely sure where yet, but I want to go up Scotland, somewhere abroad and also go on a luxurious spa weekend on my own! Self indulgent? Yup! Deserved? Oh yes!!
Buy a designer handbag. Namely Marc by Marc Jacobs or Mulberry. (Or possibly both!).
Become an interior design goddess! I grew up with a mother who always wanted to take pride in her home – although with 3 children immune to cleaning, it never quite became what she wanted – and I can see myself going the same way! In fact I’ve spent my afternoon sanding and painting picture frames.
Sew more. Including making my dresses for the two wedding I’m attending this year.
• Buy myself a new computer. And as a result make this blog everything I want it to be!
And by the end of the year…
Have a better idea what I want to do as a career/job/way of creating income. Something combining floristry, photography, glasses, fashion, blogging, design, computing, animals and a bit of travelling. Any ideas?

Now that’s my list of “resolutions” out the way, how about yours? What’s your plans for 2010?

As for the start of my year – I spent this afternoon at friends new house with my boyfriend, watching football (yawn..). Then I spent the rest of my day becoming a interior design goddess. Resolution no.5, done and dusted.

Here’s what I wore.

• Moustache T-shirt – Topshop.
• Denim Shirt – Topshop.
• Black Jeans – Topshop.

So, yeah, I’m basically a walking Topshop advertisment today.

Now my favourite piece of clothing.

Thank You Santa!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Coming in the New Year; A new layout, some fantastic posts and more frequent updates!

The Unglamorous Truth

Apologies (again) for my eye-sore curtains. I plan to let my inner-interior-designer free in 2010.

When I have a day off I like to laze around in cotton joggers, big jumpers and Ugg boots. Hair scraped back, no makeup and all.
And yes, I shamefully admit I do actually leave the house like this… But only ever to the shop across the road!

• Black Cotton Joggers – Primark.
• White Jumper – Vintage.
• Grey Cardigan – New Look.
• Ugg Boots – TK Maxx.

I can’t be the only person who’d rather be in unsightly comfy clothes on their day off, can I?
